Here are some special Powers

Last week I had the honor of taking family portraits for my pastor's family- the Powers! They are such a photogenic family. We got a little late start, which led to some photo trickery since it was getting dark as we had the shoot. It was so much fun!

Great Forest Park Balloon Race

As part of the Hot Air Balloon race that takes part in Forest Park each year, there is a photo contest. I was all excited to take part until I realized that I can't participate since I'm a pro. Oh, well. Here are a few to amuse and excite.

These are dedicated to my dad for his birthday. Happy Balloon Birthday, Dad!

Headshot Project- Men's Session

Tonight, Darren and Steve came over to participate in my headshot project. They are both excellent subjects and I'd like to thank them both. Here is a sampling.

Headshot Project

This past Friday I had the pleasure of photographing 6 stunning young women at Tower Grove Park for a project I'm working on with headshots. We had a great time. Praise God the weather held out.

Here are some of the headshots, a few of the friends taking advantage of a pro to capture them together and then some lily pads, just because they are so pretty.

Many thanks to my models: Leah, Michelle, Heather, Ashlee, Amanda, and Jessica. I look forward to my session with the fellas soon!

Lynn Family, Special Request

My friend Miranda and her husband Ryan made a special request for this photo of Bryce, Keeley, and Cooper to be included in the Lynn Family Photo collection. Enjoy!

Lynn Family Photos

My father asked me to take family portraits for Mother's Day 2006 and slowly but surely, we kept coming up with excuses for not doing them. Finally this weekend, with baby Cooper in tow, we got them done, well in advance of the departure to London for Bryce, Keeley, and Cooper. My thanks to Mom, Dad, B, Kee, Coop, and my great tripod-toting husband, Brian for their willingness to take some photos on a simmering hot Labor Day!

Here are a couple of my favorites. You can see the whole lot of them on my google/picasa website here.
